Why marketplace ads need their own discipline
Marketplace advertising doesn’t behave like Google or Meta paid social. On Amazon and Daraz, the ad and the listing are the same funnel — a weak title or a lost Buy Box will quietly destroy your ACoS no matter how well the campaign is set up. We run paid placements inside Amazon Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display, and Daraz Sponsored Ads, with one job: keep every rupee and dollar of spend accountable to a target ACoS and TACoS for each SKU.
Most marketplace accounts we inherit share the same pattern. Auto campaigns run wide and unchecked. Search term reports get downloaded and ignored. Budgets sit on one or two campaigns with no separation between exploratory and defensive spend. And nobody is watching TACoS, so ad spend scales faster than organic sales and the contribution margin on best sellers quietly shrinks.
Where marketplace ad spend actually leaks
The biggest leak in most accounts is query waste. Auto campaigns and broad-match keywords surface thousands of search terms a week, and without regular pruning the same non-converting queries keep spending for months. We mine the search term report weekly, move converters into exact-match manual campaigns, and add negatives for everything that clicks but never buys.
The second leak is structure. When keywords of different intent sit in one campaign, you can’t control bids or budgets at the level that matters. We separate auto from manual, group by match type and intent, and rebuild so that placement multipliers, daily budgets, and bid changes actually do what you expect.
Then there’s the listing itself. Ads send traffic to a page that has to convert. A thin title, missing bullet points, fewer than the allowed images, or a Buy Box you lose to another seller all raise the cost of every sale. We check listing readiness and Buy Box win rate as part of the ad work, not as an afterthought.
How we run Amazon Ads and Daraz Sponsored Ads
Book a free strategy call - we'll audit your current setup and identify the highest-impact fixes.
We start with 60–90 days of your campaign, search term, and placement data. That gives us a real baseline ACoS, TACoS, and conversion rate per ASIN, not a guess. From there the work runs as a weekly cycle:
- Bid and budget adjustments against your target ACoS per SKU, with placement multipliers for Top of Search and Product Pages
- Search term mining — promote converters, negative the rest
- Placement reporting so you can see where your sales actually come from
- Buy Box and inventory checks, because a stockout pauses your ad rank and burns momentum
- Reallocation toward your best-margin ASINs and away from bleeders
For Daraz specifically, the work runs through Seller Center — Daraz Sponsored Search, Sponsored Discovery, and the daily bid and budget levers inside the seller dashboard. Daraz’s ad platform is simpler than Amazon’s, but the volume inside Pakistan’s largest marketplace means small bid moves shift rank quickly, so weekly attention matters.
For Amazon sellers based in Pakistan shipping into the US, UK, or Gulf markets, we run Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display, plus A+ Content and Brand Store work where it lifts conversion. The Lahore and Karachi team handles execution, reporting, and the early-hours timezone overlap that matters when US marketplace activity peaks.
ACoS and TACoS, not vanity metrics
We report against ACoS and TACoS per ASIN, because a blended account-level ACoS hides the products that are quietly unprofitable to advertise. A 15% ACoS looks fine until you realise one SKU is at 8% and another is burning at 40%. Our reporting breaks contribution down per product so you can decide where to push spend and where to pull back.
TACoS — total ad spend as a share of total sales — is the number that tells you whether ads are growing the business or just taking credit for organic demand. We track it alongside ACoS so you see both the campaign-level efficiency and the store-level dependency on paid.
Connected to the rest of your ecommerce stack
Marketplace ad data doesn’t live in isolation. We align it with GA4, your Shopify or store backend, and ad platform exports so marketplace ACoS and TACoS sit beside your other channels. If you run a Looker Studio dashboard or a CRM like HubSpot, we feed the numbers in rather than handing you another disconnected spreadsheet.
Who this suits
How we helped a Pakistani business achieve measurable results.
This work fits two kinds of sellers. First, Pakistan-based businesses selling inside Daraz and growing past the point where an owner can watch the ad dashboard themselves. Second, Amazon FBA and private-label sellers — including Pakistan-based operators shipping internationally — who need structured campaign management and someone watching TACoS while they focus on sourcing and inventory.
If your ad spend inside Amazon or Daraz has grown faster than your ability to manage it, talk to us about taking over the account.
