Picking an offer that earns the email address

A lead magnet is a trade: something useful enough that a prospect gives you their name, email, and sometimes a phone number. The trade only works when the thing you hand back solves a real, specific problem they have this week — not a vague primer they could find in five minutes of searching. Broad ebooks attract broad contacts, and broad contacts waste your sales team’s time.

We help B2B and service businesses across Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, and overseas choose offers that match a genuine buying stage. A cost calculator fits a buyer comparing vendors. A short audit fits someone close to acting. A checklist fits a team doing the work themselves for now. A template or recorded walkthrough fits a technical buyer who needs to see the thing before they’ll talk to anyone. The format follows the decision the prospect is trying to make — not the asset we happen to find easy to produce.

What sits between the download and the sales call

The magnet earns the opt-in. The funnel decides whether that opt-in ever becomes a conversation. Most of the lead-quality problems we see aren’t in the asset itself — they’re in the gap after it.

A complete lead magnet funnel has a landing page built around one offer, a form that captures the right amount of context (enough to qualify, little enough to convert), a thank-you page that confirms delivery and sets the next expectation, a fast email that hands over the asset, a nurture sequence that’s actually relevant to what they downloaded, a CRM record carrying source and intent signals, and a routing rule that pushes the right leads to sales instead of leaving them sitting in a list. We design each of those pieces to talk to the one after it.

B2B and service purchases involve multiple people, longer timelines, and real money, so the magnet has to do two jobs at once: be genuinely useful on its own, and tell you something about whether this person is worth following up with. A generic “2026 industry trends” download tells you almost nothing about fit. A short assessment that asks about team size, current tools, and timeline tells you a lot.

We lean toward offers that filter as they convert — assessments, graders, ROI calculators, and diagnostic audits — because every answer becomes a signal you can score, segment, and hand off. For lighter offers we’ll use checklists, swipe files, and short guides, then rely on behaviour after the download (email clicks, return visits, repeat form fills) to flag intent.

Nurture designed around scoring, not generic sends

Once someone downloads, the nurture sequence takes over, and the most common mistake is a single generic drip sent to everyone regardless of what they wanted. A prospect who grabbed a pricing calculator and one who grabbed a beginner’s checklist are not at the same stage, and they shouldn’t receive the same emails.

We map nurture flows by segment and by signal. In practice that means branches in HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, or MailerLite based on the magnet downloaded, the answers given on the form, and downstream behaviour. Leads warm up through specific, useful content; when they cross a threshold — a score, a tag, a repeated high-intent action — they’re pushed into the CRM and flagged for follow-up with the context attached.

What we measure beyond the download count

Download volume is the easiest number to report and the least useful one. A magnet can generate a thousand emails and zero pipeline, so we set up tracking that separates useful leads from vanity downloads and judges the work on outcomes that actually matter.

That usually means a GA4 and GTM setup that records the opt-in as a conversion with its UTM source, a CRM dashboard showing leads by source, magnet, and stage, an email report on nurture engagement and where people drop off, and a closed-loop view (where your data allows) of which magnets produce booked calls and pipeline. When a magnet looks great on downloads but produces no follow-up conversations, we know to fix the offer, the form questions, or the nurture — not to celebrate the number.

This work suits B2B companies, SaaS teams, consultants, agencies, education providers, clinics, and real estate firms that have traffic or ad spend but no clear mid-funnel offer to convert it. It sits naturally alongside our lead generation systems, landing page design, email automation, and CRM setup work — use us for the full build, or just the strategy and briefs.

We usually open with a short strategy sprint: we review your current offer, your sales process, and your qualification criteria, then come back with a recommended magnet, a funnel map, and a content brief. If that sounds useful, book a free strategy call and tell us who your ideal client is — or browse the wider services library to see how it fits together.
